Business Plan Example

If you are in the process of starting your own business, I am very sure that many many people have told you about the necessity of a good business plan. It is probably one of the most important things that you can do for your new business, and can definately save you from bankruptsy in the near future.

Everyone thinks that starting a business is easy, you just basically do it, and the rest falls in to place on its own, but this is definately not the case.

Here is an example of a business plan (well, a simple one at least)...

Let say you wish to start your own IT company - sell computer hardware and software.

Firstly, for this example of a business plan, you'll need to decide on a few things for your business.

The key issues may be the following:

For example:

Lets say the total of your expenses is $3500 per month (remember, this is everything, like your phone bills, groceries, car payments, travel expenses, utility bills, entertainment, etc.) - so this means that you will have to plan your business in such a way that you make at least $3500 per month.

If you switch this around to selling laptops, for example, and you can make an average of $250 profit per sale, then you must sell 14 laptops. Thats less than 4 a week, which is totally doable. But now, you must remember, especially when you live in a smaller town, with lots of competition, this might not be so achievable...

Now you can maybe think of a unique product or service that your business can offer that others don't. Maybe it can be 24/7 call out services to fix laptops, or you can hire a young programmer and sell websites as well.

As you can see, its not just as simple as starting the business. A good business plan will definately be what you need to be able to make a success with your new business.

If you are at all serious about your new business, you really must considder get a good business plan. It is that simple. And you will not regret it!
